The Australian Tourism Awards celebrates businesses who have contributed to the Australian tourism sector by promoting business excellence and innovation. Gold Winners from each state's Tourism Awards are entered and judges assess each state winner based on a written submission, customer reviews and a site visit by Tourism Australia.

This is the fourth time we have palced at the Australian Tourism Awards. We won Silver in 2014, Gold in 2015 and Silver again in 2016, but winning Gold after two very difficult years of COVID feels extra special. We'd like to congratulate the Silver Winner, Coal River Farm, and the Bronze Winner, Two Feet and A Heartbeat for their fantastic achievments.

We would like to thank Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism (MPRT) who is the peak tourism body and lead voice for tourism in our region.  Guided by the Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism Board (MPRTB) they are doing a wonderful support for business and are doing a great job of ensuring sustainable tourism growth and destination growth in our region.

We would also like to thank the Victoria Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) who is Victoria’s peak tourism industry body and is the leading advocate for Victoria’s tourism and events industry. VTIC have provided unwavering support for tourism and events businesses in these recent challenging years and are the driving force behind the Victorian Tourism Awards.

Thanks again to all of our staff and visitors who make Green Olive what it is today.
