Flavour from the Bush: Discover Our Australian Native Bush Salt
At Green Olive at Red Hill, we believe in celebrating the rich flavours of the Australian landscape. One of the ways we bring this to life is through our Australian Native Bush Salt—a bold, earthy seasoning inspired by the plants growing in our native bush food garden.
Crafted with care on our farm, this unique salt mix features:
Australian Sea Salt
Naturally harvested from clean coastal waters, this salt brings a clean, mineral-rich crunch that enhances food without overpowering it.
Bush Salt
Grown in the arid regions of Australia, saltbush has long been used by Indigenous communities for its mild, savoury flavour. It brings a subtle herbaceous quality that pairs beautifully with meats and vegetables.
Native Pepperberry
This striking little berry is both spicy and fruity, with deep peppery notes. Found in Tasmania and alpine regions, it adds a distinctive kick and is rich in antioxidants, making it as good for your body as it is for your tastebuds.
This seasoning is incredibly versatile and adds a uniquely Australian twist to:
- BBQ meats like lamb, beef or kangaroo
- Grilled fish or prawns
- Roasted pumpkin, potatoes, or carrots
- Fresh salads, especially those with citrus or creamy dressings
