Mornington Peninsula Sustainable Winery Tour
Green Olive at Red Hill, winery and olive grove, is a whole farm experience. We grow olives, grapes, herbs, veggies and raise sheep and chooks on our 27 acre property on the Mornington Peninsula. Our Sustainable Farm Tour gives you an overview of everything that goes on at the farm. You’ll learn about our biological approach to farming and our paddock to plate food production. You will also learn about the water, waste and energy aspects of our Mornington Peninsula property.
This guided tour on the Mornington Peninsula includes a delicious tapas and wine lunch made from fresh produce grown on our sustainable farm. The Farmers Lunch includes:
- A glass of Mornington Peninsula wine or a cold drink
- Chef’s selection of farm grown olives, olive oil, tapenade and ciabatta
- A selection of 2 tapas dishes, of your choice from the menu
- A farm made dessert, of your choice
- A farm roasted coffee or loose leaf tea
Handmade Sausage Making - Mornington Peninsula Cooking Class
A Green Olive at Red Hill sausage making class is the perfect way to learn the art of fresh sausage making. We will show you everything about bratwurst sausage making; from the best cuts of meat to use, how to grind meat, the herbs and seasonings to use and how to fill natural sausage casings through to the different ways to cook sausages. You will use spices and fresh herbs from our garden to individually season your own batch of sausages. This sausage making class is taught by our experienced chefs who will give you expert tips and guidance so that you can get the most out of your Green Olive at Red Hill cooking class.
After you’ve completed the sausage making class, you will have the opportunity to enjoy your delicious creation with a glass of Estate wine and views overlooking the vineyard. Our cooking classes on the Mornington Peninsula are really the perfect way to spend a Saturday!
