At Green Olive at Red Hill, we grow olives, grapes, herbs and veggies, raise sheep and chooks, and turn amazing produce from local farmers into a range of goodies you can enjoy for lunch at our Red Hill winery. Green Olive at Red Hill is a family business. We are: Greg and Sue O'Donoghue, our children Sam and Sophie, two Kelpies (Rasa and Indi), one Maremma (Pisa), a Shetland Pony (Gracie), pastured free range Isa Brown chooks, Wiltshire Pole sheep and a handful of Indian Runner ducks. Nearby, at Green Olive Up the Hill we run Black Angus steers. We think that’s enough for now, but you never know on the farm!
Our 27 acre farm is located one hour from Melbourne at Red Hill, in the wine growing region of the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Our rich volcanic soils, cool climate and between the bays location is the ideal place for growing quality food and wine.

We raise sheep and chooks, and combine fresh produce from local farmers with the finest drops from Mornington Peninsula wineries to create a mouth-watering selection of tapas and wine you will love at our Red Hill restaurant!
When the sun’s shining, groups flock to Green Olive for lunch and our picturesque Green Olive at Red Hill winery tours. We want to help make sure everyone has the best experience possible, which is why we take lunch bookings for groups of 4 or more. Weekend group bookings fill fast, so be sure to book in advance to secure your spot at one of the finest wineries on the Mornington Peninsula. Booking times for groups of 4 or more are 12 Noon or 2.30PM. Please note that we only serve food prepared in our kitchen. Please do not bring your own food, cakes, drink or alcohol to our farm. Groups of up to 3 people are always welcome on a walk in basis. If there is a short wait for a table at our Red Hill restaurant, you are most welcome to enjoy a drink on the lawn while soaking up the farm atmosphere and olive tree vineyard. Green Olive at Red Hill reserves the right to rebook your table if you fail to arrive within 15 minutes of your booking time. Enjoy your visit to our kid-friendly, smoke-free farm. Remember smoking is not permitted anywhere on the farm.
Visit our farm shop at Red Hill and you can enjoy coffee from beans roasted on site and savour the aromas of our herbs and spices as they roast. You can enjoy our hand-made sausages or tapas dishes and even take a small taste of our farm home with you.Liquor License Number 36089751.
